No. A private investigator, by law, is not able to release information acquired by or due to an investigation without the consent of the client he or she is working with.

This is a question with no set in stone answer. It's depending on the service, the time, and the private investigator. Some private investigators charge a flat fee, some charge by the hour. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. In regard to our company, please submit a service request so we can insure to give you your accurate amount. 


Any investigator that guarantees the answer to this question being "yes", is willing to resort to obtaining results in a unethical and illegal manner. If such actions are acted upon, you are held liable as much as the investigator is. One of our companies' morals that we abide to is "the keyword trust, cannot be too highly emphasized". Thus, our answer to this question is we will work towards satisfactory results and if not obtained we'll proclaim services free of charge, within limitations. Satisfaction is our companies priority. 


According to the Bureau of Security & Investigation Services:


  • Be at least 18 years old, 
  • Three years of compensated experience totaling not less than 6,000 hours in investigative work, while employed by law enforcement agencies, collection agencies, insurance agencies, banks, courts, and other private investigation agencies, etc.,
  • A college degree in criminal law, criminal justice or police science is appreciated but not required. 
  • Pass a written exam.
  • and undergo a criminal history review.

A method of follow up or feedback should be discussed, and we highly recommend, when first meeting with an investigator. This ensures your desired method and frequency is what your given by us. For large and complex cases, it can be a daily phone call or emailed report, for less small and complex, a weekly phone call or emailed report, and so on.
